1992 GM Ultralite

The internet has no shortage of self-appointed experts and armchair execs who possess insight as to why GM went from industry leader to bankruptcy over the course of 35 years, myself included, so I will spare thee the reader from captain hindsight and his ilk.

1977 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser

As a follow up to the 1992 GM Ultralite we looked at the other day, look at what GM was building 15 years prior. The sellers description, “made at a time when General Motors Oldsmobile Division was building great American classics with much pride and craftsmanship," is a unique interpretation of 1970's smog era vehicles, which generally offered both less power and real world fuel economy than their predecessors in exchange for reduced smog emissions. However, this is one fine specimen, as well it should be for the seller's $12k asking price:

55,523 certified one owner miles. This was made at a time when General Motors Oldsmobile Division was building great American classics with much pride and craftsmanship. It was lovingly maintained mechanically and cosmetically by its only owner. There is not a spot of rust anywhere. It is as if it was washed and dried every time it was driven. This is truly a one of a kind. It is finished in a flawless copper metallic with an impeccable champagne beige interior. It is fitted with a 5.7 liter 350 V-8 engine with automatic transmission. It is fitted with every refinement available the time. The air conditioning blows cold, it has power steering and brakes and factory luggage rack. It does not have a third row seat.

For Sale in Germany: 2000 Mercedes V230 Brabus

Though this Brabus Edition Mercedes V230 may not be collectible, fast, or particularly fun to drive, it has style and comfort, and that's what custom vannin' is all about. As the listing states (screenshot of listing), this example is #199 of 250 units modified by Brabus. Modifications appear to be limited to the bodykit, wheels, lowering module, and some interior bits. The two-tone paint job works well with the gloss black monoblock IV's, and the Brabus bumper perfectly accommodates that Brabus Muffler.
